Who needs a cottage when you can drive 2 hours from Toronto and be sipping your favourite drink watching the beautiful boat traffic from your front row seat. Lakehouse is only a 5 minute drive to Port Sandfield and Minett for supplies or perhaps a dozen famous blueberry doughnuts. Ten minutes down the road is the famous cottage town of Port Carling for boutique shopping, dining etc. Other attractions include five star golf courses, the J.W. Marriott and Rosseau Resort and Spa.
