The Space

Avon House is a newly renovated two level cottage that features a large open concept kitchen, great room, dining room on the main floor with airy vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and lovely views of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen is completed with white marble countertops, new stainless appliances and all the necessary amenities for easy meal prep. There are also 3 bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom on this floor. Surrounding the perimeter of the upper level, is a newly built cedar deck outfitted with comfy patio furniture for both dining and/or relaxing. No deck would be complete without a new propane BBQ which is easily accessible by all areas of the cottage inside and out.

The second of three entertainment spaces is the lower level great room. This is a bright, spacious area to hang out, enjoy a game of ping pong or perhaps watch a movie on the new smart LED 75 inch tv with surround sound. No cottage would be complete without the requisite stack of Muskoka board games. The remaining two bedrooms and bathroom are also found on this level.

Steps from the cottage and accessible by both levels is the the beautiful shoreline, which features a shallow lake entry with hard-packed, rippled sand, and the fully furnished boathouse – an incredible and unique 3rd entertainment space! The Boathouse is a fantastic place to spend the lazy, hazy days of summer. It has been designed with the ultimate comforts in mind and includes a sectional sofa, soft seating options, tables, new lighting, state of the art sound system and tv, fridge, bar with bar stools and of course the ultimate foosball game! In front of the boat house is a huge, beautiful swimming dock complete with high end patio furniture, umbrella and water toys such as two kayaks to complete a perfect day on the water!

Avon House has not forgotten about the importance of a Muskoka fire pit for evenings spent star gazing and roasting marshmallows, and ours is situated by the water’s edge surrounded by Muskoka chairs with majestic lake views.
This stunning, modern cottage is set right in the heart of Muskoka, nearby to innumerable amenities and activities, including restaurants, golf courses, resorts, yoga studios, shopping, sea doo/boat rentals, and marinas, but Avon House is tucked into lovely Avon Bay, off the main boating channel, providing a peaceful setting which allows you to relax and unwind while still allowing you to easily join in on all Muskoka has to offer!
